We come to the Bible believing it is the place where God has spoken to man, perfectly and comprehensively.Ī. In the view of many (including the author), this argument from purpose and design remains unanswered by the atheist or the agnostic. It is the understanding that there must be a purposeful intelligence that created this world because the world shows both purpose and intelligence. This is an example of the teleological argument for the existence of God. Romans 1:20 also explains: For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.Ĭ. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. Psalm 19:1-4 explains this: The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork. The Bible tells us we can know God exists because of what we see in the created world.

However, it does tell us how we can know God exists.ī. Yet the Bible does not make elaborate arguments for the existence of God.

There are many good and strong philosophical and logical reasons to believe in God. We come to the Bible knowing there is a God.Ī.
